The Location

The apartment is situated in the resort of Puerto del Carmen and is less than 5 minutes walk from a small beach and 10 minutes walk from the main beach.

The resort of Puerto del Carmen is approximately 15/20 minutes drive from the airport and there are numerous taxis at the airport.

Taxis are available in the resort and are located in various taxi ranks but can also be stopped on the road, they are very inexpensive

Car hire is available from numerous outlets along the front although if you are requiring car hire for the duration of the stay it is as well to pre-book a car at the airport to where it can be returned. Although car hire from the airport is slightly dearer you do save the taxi fare making it overall cheaper.

Along the front Puerto del Carmen runs the front road along which are situated numerous bars, restaurants, shops, bank etc. At the far end of the resort is the "old town" where there are a number of very good fish restaurants.

Night life, for the young at heart, is available near the main beach and goes on until the early hours of the morning.

Golf, for the golf fans out there, Costa Teguise (around 20 minutes away) has an excellent world renowned Golf Course. More information about Lanzarote Golf can be found here.

Puerto del Carmen is located on the southeast coast of the island which makes access to all parts of the island ideal. The road system on the island is second to none in respect of the main trunk roads and most of the secondary roads are now in excellent condition.
